Set-Piece Boxes — GK Role

Goalkeeping · U13–U19

Obj: The keeper's dead-ball command — wall math, corner organization, and the claim-or-hold verdicts at every restart against us (H-03/H-07's gloves chapter, owned). Field: Box + dead-ball spots. Equip: Goal, balls, mannequin walls, bibs. Org: The role rehearsed restart by restart: FREE KICKS (the wall chart internalized — numbers by distance and angle, the build's 8-second speed with the keeper conducting, H-07's code from its architect's side; his own positioning off the wall's edge, never hidden behind it); CORNERS (H-03's system from the commander's chair — the marks checked aloud pre-delivery, the claim-path law: "KEEPER!" clears his lane, the punch's address when crowded, I-07's decisions at their densest); the QUICK-RESTART guard (H-14's denial from the last line — the keeper's early positioning killing their fast free kicks). CP: (1) The wall is his math and his voice (nobody else's — committee walls concede, H-07's law); (2) pre-delivery checks audible ("who's got 9?" — the marks confirmed before every corner, H-12's lineup-card walk led by the keeper); (3) claim verdicts at set pieces bias BRAVE (the crowded box rewards the keeper who owns his lane — 9.4's counted courage). Prog: Scout-mirror restarts (their routines at our box, H-12's session joined); numbers-down chaos. Reg: Walls mannequin; corners passive. Mist: P: hiding behind walls (the strike unseen is the goal conceded); C: set-piece sessions where the keeper's just a shot-stopper (the ROLE is command first). Time: 12 min weekly in-season (inside H-03/H-07 slots). Out: Wall math automatic; pre-delivery checks ritual; set-piece goals against near-zero with the keeper's fingerprints on the prevention. Var: The organizer's set-piece exam (I-24's film lens on dead balls specifically). Diag: Free kick with the keeper's wall-number call and his off-wall sightline position; corner inset with his marks-check bubbles, claim lane cleared by the call.

The 3-point rule: pick your three coaching points before the session and be ready to answer for them (Manual 5.4).
