Obj: The set position and the steps that carry it — arriving set, on time, every shot. Field: Goal area. Equip: Goal, balls, cones, ladder optional. Org: Footwork patterns to save stations: shuffle (never crossing feet), drop-step, and the small "set hop" timed to the shooter's strike (set AS the ball is struck — early is frozen, late is beaten). Coach varies shot timing off dribbles to train the read; saves are secondary to the arrival's quality (graded loudly: "set on time!"). CP: (1) Feet shoulder-width, weight on the balls, hands ready at the set; (2) shuffle fast, set still — moving keepers get beaten at their feet; (3) read the striker's plant foot for the timing cue. Prog: Angle changes mid-dribble (re-shuffle, re-set); serve-to-save chains (I-19's seed). Reg: Announced strike timing; walking pace. Mist: P: crossing feet under speed; C: grading saves over set-timing (the arrival IS this session). Time: 12 min. Out: On-time sets above 80% (counted); clean shuffle mechanics. Var: Mirror rounds (two keepers, one leads the footwork, one shadows). Diag: Goal-mouth with shuffle path arrows, set-hop timing mark synced to a striker's plant foot.
