Obj: Escaping the touchline trap — building through the wide zones where presses love to slam, turning their favorite trap into our favorite exit. Field: Half field's wide third (both flanks alternating), 40×20yd. Equip: Cones, balls, bibs, goal. Org: Fullback + winger + near pivot + near CB (the wide diamond) vs. 4 trappers who spring on the trigger every press uses: the pass INTO the fullback near the line (2.4.5's touchline trap, experienced from the victim's side). The diamond works the escape menu: (a) the bounce-out (first-time back to the CB before the slam closes); (b) the third-man up the line (fullback's one-touch to the winger's feet as the pivot spins beyond BOTH — B-21 on the touchline); (c) the inside slip (winger drags his man wide, fullback slips the pivot arriving inside); (d) the switch-before-the-slam (the CB's early diagonal when he SEES the trap loading — prevention as cure). Escapes = 2 pts; trapped losses concede a counter-goal chance. CP: (1) The trap needs two seconds to close — your escape is chosen BEFORE the ball arrives or it's too late (scanning under the highest stakes); (2) the touchline is a wall for dribblers but a friend for bouncers — one-touch play beats the slam's geometry; (3) the best escape is the un-sprung trap: the early switch (d) scores double because prevention is mastery. Prog: Trappers vary the trigger (sometimes the winger's reception springs it); full-width version with both flanks live. Reg: 3 trappers; slower spring. Mist: P: receiving on the line flat-footed and square (the trap's dream victim — B-05's boulevard matters most here); C: only training the escape, never the early-switch prevention. Time: 16 min. Out: Trap survival menu; pre-arrival decisions; the wide zones detoxified. Var: Flip-perspective rounds — the same players run the trap (E-12's press curriculum, same session, both sides of the war). Diag: Wide channel with the trap's four arrows converging on the fullback's reception, four lettered escape arrows (bounce, third-man line, inside slip, early switch ghosted before the trap).
