4v4+2 Free-Man Finder

Obj: The free man found fast — recognition speed of where the spare player is as pictures change. Field: 25×20yd. Equip: Cones, ball, bibs. Org: 4v4 with 2 neutrals (6v4 in possession). Core rule: every 5th pass must go to a neutral who hasn't touched it in that sequence — forcing constant re-location of the spare men. Coach randomly shouts "switch!" — neutrals must swap positions mid-play, and the possession team must track the new free-man geography without losing rhythm. CP: (1) The free man is a moving fact — re-scan every two passes; (2) play the free man early, before the defense re-balances; (3) neutrals: make yourself findable — off the defender's shoulder, on a new line. Prog: One neutral becomes a defender on the coach's call (6v4→5v5 shock — find the new reality); two-touch. Reg: Neutrals in fixed wide lanes; slower rounds. Mist: P: skipping the free man to force brave-looking passes (2.8.4 — the free man MUST be found); C: never testing the recognition with the switch call. Time: 15 min.
