Obj: Receiving with back-pressure arriving in waves — composure when you hear the steps ("sirens"). Field: 15×15yd grids. Equip: Cones, balls, bibs. Org: Server → central receiver; the moment the pass is struck, a defender is released from a corner (different corner each rep — the receiver must locate the siren by scanning, not assume). Receiver's menu: shield-and-return (1 pt), escape-turn away from pressure (2 pts), or one-touch bounce if the siren arrives instantly (1 pt, the wise choice honored). Rotate roles. CP: (1) Scan over both shoulders as the ball travels — find the siren; (2) first touch away from the arriving side; (3) choose by distance: siren far = turn, near = protect or bounce. Prog: Two sirens from different corners (A-35 bridge); server varies pass quality deliberately (bad balls are match reality). Reg: Siren walks; corner announced. Mist: P: one-shoulder scans (50% blind); C: same release corner rhythm (predictability kills the scan). Time: 14 min. Out: Correct menu choice matched to pressure distance; double-scan rate climbs. Var: GK version (I-17 pairing — back-passes under the striker's siren). Diag: Square, server below, receiver central, four corner cones with release arrows, scan icons over both shoulders.
