Obj: The rondo introduced properly: angles, splits, and joy — the club staple's first form. Field: 8×8yd. Equip: Cones, ball, bibs. Org: Four outside, one inside. Outside players move along their edges (not statues); a split pass through the defender = 2 pts, ten consecutive = 1 pt. Defender out on a win, splitter's celebration mandatory (the split is the crown jewel — mythologize it early). CP: (1) Open body before receiving — see two teammates; (2) move along your line to create the splitting lane; (3) pass firm to the far foot. Prog: Two-touch; 4v1 to 3v1 (harder); defender partners rotate on time not turnover (protects weak defenders). Reg: 5v1; unlimited touches; bigger grid. Mist: P: hiding behind the defender's shadow (coach the sidestep); C: joyless rondos — this must feel like the best game at training. Time: 12 min. Out: First splits celebrated; support movement replaces statue-passing. Var: "World Cup rondo" — grids compete for total splits. Diag: Square, four edge players with lateral movement arrows, defender center, split-pass line through.
