Obj: Aerial control competition — cushion, set, and return over a barrier; touch quality under playful stakes. Field: 12×6yd "courts" with a cone/bench/low-net divide. Equip: Balls, cones or agility-pole net. Org: Singles or doubles soccer-tennis: serve by chip; receiving side allowed one bounce + up to 3 touches (age-scaled) before returning. Points to 11. Rotate courts by result (ladder). CP: (1) First touch kills the ball's spin and sets the second (cushion with foot/thigh/chest giving on contact); (2) get feet set early — read the flight; (3) returns aimed at space, not at the player. Prog: No-bounce rule; weak-foot returns only; one-touch kingdom round (U15+). Reg: Two bounces; hand-feed serves. Mist: P: stabbing at the ball with a stiff ankle; C: letting rallies die — adjust rules until rallies of 4+ are normal (rallies are the reps). Time: 15 min (great session-end). Out: Dozens of aerial touches per player with laughing intensity. Var: Team tennis (4v4, everyone touches before returning); "champions' net" ladder. Diag: Small court split by low barrier, flight arc arrows, players positioned to receive.
