Obj: Beat a defender to a line in both directions — attack and defend the same duel. Field: 15×10yd channels. Equip: Cones, balls, bibs. Org: Attacker starts with the ball on one line; defender passes it in to start (serve = engagement). Attacker scores by stopping the ball on the far line; defender scores by winning it and stopping it on the attacker's line (both roles live). Best of 5, rotate opponents. CP: (1) Attack the defender's front foot at speed; (2) change of pace beats change of direction alone; (3) defender: sideways-on, patient, strike when the touch is heavy. Prog: Narrow the channel (less room to swerve); two-line scoring (attacker may score either end after a fake). Reg: Defender walks backward only for round one. Mist: P: attacker slowing to a stop before the move (momentum is the weapon); C: coaching only the attacker — half this session is defending school. Time: 15 min. Out: 10+ duels per player; both-direction competence graded. Var: King-court rotation; weak-foot-only attacking round. Diag: Channel with attacker and defender facing, serve arrow, two scoring lines shaded.
